Clearing 2026
Clearing is how universities and colleges fill places they still have left on their courses.
The 2026 Clearing period has begun and will run until October 19th.
You can apply for a course via Clearing if you’re not currently holding an offer from a university or college and the course you’re applying to still has places available.
Use Clearing if you:
didn’t receive a university or college offer (or none you wanted to accept)
didn’t meet the conditions of your offer (known once you’ve received your results in August)
have declined your offered firm place.
