Role - 3D (digital) Modeller 
 
What you’ll do – 
create digital three-dimensional characters, objects and settings using computer software; working in sectors including film and TV, computer games, engineering, architecture, product development, manufacturing, etc 
use your creative abilities to come up with concepts and technical skills (including maths skills) to make them real 
work in a team, liaise with clients and/or your employer on a project ‘brief’; keeping them updated as to progress 
keep updated on latest 3D modelling technology. 
 
Average earnings – Average base (starter) salary of around £29,000p.a (figure, Indeed)

Role – UX (User Experience) Researcher 
 
What you’ll do – 
study the needs, behaviours and preferences of those using websites, apps and other digital/online systems to improve these products and services 
do this using research techniques including surveys, user interviews, usability tests and analysing this information 
reporting back to product teams and designers, so they can enhance user experience and accessibility 
keep up-to-date with latest online design and technology innovations and tools. 
 
 
Average earnings – Starter salary £30,000+ p.a to experienced £70,000+ (figure, Prospects).

Role - Software Developer 
 
What you'll do -  
design, build and test computer programmes 
write and amend computer code 
test software to find and fix problems or 'bugs' 
maintain and support computer programmes once they're up and running  
liaise with clients and/or your employer on a project and report on progress 
keep up-to-date on latest technical knowledge in this fast-moving industry.
