Student Welcome Event at University of Derby

A Student Welcome Event for those studying on East Midlands IoT courses at the University of Dertby has been held.
The event saw those on courses taught through the University of Derby, chiefly at its Enterprise Centre site in Bridge Street, and their lecturers hear more about the East Midlands IoT partnership; and how it can benefit students' work experience and future career paths.
Attendees heard from speakers East Midlands IoT Executive Director Rachel Quinn and its Chair Martin Rigley; and Ben Sharp (pictured above), Head of Operations at commercial partner Bloc Digital (also located at the Enterprise Centre).
Further Student Welcome Events for East Midlands IoT students will be held at other partners' locations.
